A decade of experience as a classroom teacher, teaching Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Success teaching my own 4-year-old daughter how to read, write, and understand foundational math concepts using the Launching Learners method
As a classroom teacher, I saw first hand that a positive relationship with learning and academic success often went hand in hand.
So when I left the classroom to stay home with my toddler during the pandemic, I made it my mission to learn more about Early Childhood Education and discover the best ways to teach her foundational academic skills WHILE building her love for learning.
Here’s what I learned:
Toddlers and preschoolers learn best through repeated, playful, pressure-free exposures to academic concepts with a grown-up who loves them.
I saw first hand that finding joyful learning opportunities all around us helped my daughter absorb academic skills while approaching learning with enthusiasm, motivation, and resilience.
And it was sustainable for me as a busy parent! I didn’t have to spend tons of time, money, or effort delivering lessons from a curriculum, setting up elaborate activities, or forcing my child to sit still and do worksheets.
I knew I wanted to share my method with other parents who may be in the same boat.
That’s why I created Launching Learners: an online course that will give you a reliable, simple, and thorough overview of early learning. It will teach you
By the end of my course, you’ll feel comfortable and confident to help your child build the foundations for success in reading, writing, and mathematics - while loving it every step of the way.
